From Boundary B to Boundary A: Turning 17 Certifications into a Credible SBTN Pathway
Most companies implementing SBTN Land Targets have already spent years on supply chain certifications — RSPO, Rainforest Alliance, ISCC, EUDR, Fairtrade and others. Without a clear methodology for recognising that work, SBTN’s Boundary B framework risks treating certified volumes the same as completely unverified ones.
Antela conducted a structured, evidence-based assessment of 17 certifications against SBTN Land Targets V2 — mapping mandatory requirements to SBTN’s traceability criteria — and produced two concrete, adoptable recommendations for how certified volumes can credibly progress from Boundary B to Boundary A, converting existing certification investment into SBTN compliance.
Antela is a proud member of the SBTN Corporate Engagement Program and SBTN Service Provider.
